Hoyt Bow Serial Number Search

Your serial number can be found on the outside of the riser just above your grip. Note that this is not the SO#, WO#, or WQ# on the limb label. If your bow does not have a serial number in this location then you will want to enter “NONE” (without quotation marks) into the serial number box. Hoyt Ruckus allows young shooters to develop their skills with a bow that fits with 10 inches of custom draw length adjustability, a wide weight range, a great price, loaded with features, rough-and-tumble and ready for action, a real performance driven youth bow. Write down the serial number and the date stamp. The date stamp will tell you the age of the bow. Check out the underside of the bow shaft toward the top pulley on some models to find the serial number and date stamp.

Buyer beware!!! Matthews Bows MAY BE RESOLVED
I bought a Matthews LX from Griffin Outdoors before he sold the business. I now had an issue with the bow so I contact Matthews to resolve the matter. Everything was going smoothly, my problem was going to be resolved until I gave them the serial # off my bow.
Matthews called and told me my bow was used and would not warranty anything. I told them I had the receipt and paper work for the purchase of the bow but that didn't matter. Their explanation was that the dealer in Griffin purchased the bow from another dealer out of Texas because they had pulled his dealership to sell their bows.
I have no recourse to go after the Griffin store, its gone, and Matthews is unwilling to help me with the problem. THEY have forced me to have a bad attitude about the company and their products, plus the lack of customer service (trying to keep one happy ). Why not find out why the store in Texas sold him bows? Why not try and keep a customer happy over a $89.00 part instead of brushing them off? I had a BROWNING bow that I bought used, and yes I knew it was, and had a limb crack. When I called them up they had me ship the bow to them and replaced it at NO CHARGE.
Now I have a piece of JUNK that if I have any other problems with I am on my own. I only call it that because after spending over $600 for a bow, it will be worthless if a limb bust or something of that sort.
Matthews has left a very bitter taste in my mouth and I cannot recommend a product that is not going to be backed by the manufacture. I surely wont buy another one, and my two boys that are coming into the sport wont be either along with anyone else in my family that has heard of this.
