Astro TR Firmware update failed. Discussion in 'Community Support' started by Lt_Grim626, Oct 10. Click Update Update fails Astro mixamp TR is now stuck in Bootloader mode. Says i need 8654 or higher. I cant even connect. Ive tried reloading the software. Switching pcs. I get no update button let alone connect to the command center. Astro B.yond: Software updates & rebooting Once every 5 minutes we send a signal to all the B.yond decoders which lets them know what the latest software version is. Your decoder can only act upon this signal if it receives it while in standby mode, so when you aren’t watching anything be sure to put your decoder in standby.

Log in problem
Cannot log in. Why? . The page to log in via astro id keep loading. How do we watch PAID channel through astro go?? Or manage our account from “my Astro”? If we cannot log in. Fix the bug astro go. We need to log in in order to fully utilised your service. Your “one time log in all access astro apps” is not that helpful with this current situation.
Got bug
Able to see my account outstanding but unable to make payment. Already key in all card details then later it goes to a page saying payment pending, then still payment didnt get through. Please fix this
Bug Still Not Fixed
Hv been awaiting for the updates but sadly, the ‘SELF SERVICE’ section still has the old problem where the page keeps reloading itself over & over again & it’s heavily draining the battery, wonder what is really wrong..kindly fix it pls tq!

Malaysia-based satellite broadcaster continues long-term relationship with Technicolor
PARIS, France — Technicolor (Euronext Paris : FR0010918292 ; NYSE : TCH) announced that it has won a further contract from Astro, Malaysia’s leading integrated cross-media group. Already an established supplier of MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 set-top boxes for standard definition broadcasting, Technicolor is now to supply High Definition (HD) MPEG-4 STBs with local recording capability to support Astro’s move to offer more technology-adapting services and products to its close to 3 million and growing customer base.
The innovative HD enabled STB to be supplied by Technicolor includes the ability to record to an external disk or disks, allowing subscribers the convenience and flexibility to tailor their recording capability to meet their own requirements.
“This is another important milestone in our relationship with Astro, and I am delighted to be part of their plans to move to HD,” said Georges Laplanche, Senior Vice President, Connect Division at Technicolor. “From the beginning Astro has always challenged us to deliver technically excellent, operationally innovative platforms, a challenge which we have relished”.
“We are happy to be working with Technicolor and we are confident that their expertise in innovative high definition services will be a great support for us in our HD offering to our customers. This agreement marks the continuation of our relationship with the Group” added Rohana Rozhan, CEO of Astro.
Deliveries of the new STB are now underway, while at the same time Technicolor will also provide locally-based and extensive logistics and after-sales support to Astro.
